Board

In January 2012 the board changed members. The directors Jan van Bremen, Bert Hamming and Ruud van Leur have given the foundation - since its start in 2004 - their best to contribute to the improvement of living conditions of the needy elderly and the children who live on the streets. They gave the foundation meaning and structure. Although their departure caused them heartache, they thought it was time to hand over their duties to their successors.

The new board owes a lot to the first board and will continue its work with enthusiasm. Its goal is not only to extend the number of loyal donors, but also to start all sorts of new projects, great and small via sponsoring. The board does of course not operate on its own. There are different volunteers who help to bring the projects to a good end. The board is very grateful to them.

Luit KelfkensLuit Kelfkens (chairman since January 2012) worked for multinational Philips. He was a company advisor and specialized in logistics and computer science. After his retirement, he became country coordinator for PUM in The Hague. He is responsible for the following countries: Armenia, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. Because of this position, he often visits Kyrgyzstan. Luit is also mentor at "Jong Ondernemen" (Young Entrepreneurship).
